News - Seven Records Broken at Sotheby's - London

Over the weekend seven artist records were broken at Sotheby’s in London. These included Lucian Freud’s painting of Bruce Bernard (£3.5 million), an oil by Gerhard Richter (£1.5 million), a Francis Bacon (£2.5 million), Roy Lichenstein’s ‘Still Life with Candy Jar’ (£2.1 million) and Andy Warhol’s screen print of Mao 7 (£1.4 million).
